Patient Financial Responsibility

Our Admitting, Financial Services and Medical Records departments all work together closely to ensure that the financial aspects of your stay run as smoothly as possible. We assist patients by billing their insurance company directly for hospital charges. Once we have received payment from your insurance company we will be sending you a statement for the amount due. However, if your insurance company does not pay in a timely manner, you will be responsible for the total amount due.

You will receive a separate bill from the physician's office for his/her services. Depending upon the nature of your stay, you may also be billed separately for anesthesiology, pathology, radiology or other services.
